As Payroll Specialist, you will play a central role in ensuring accurate and compliant payroll operations while contributing to continuous improvements across processes and systems.
Your responsibilities include:
- Managing payroll activities from A to Z for a diverse employee population.
- Ensuring accurate processing of payroll inputs, salary calculations and statutory obligations.
- Acting as a key contact for payroll, compensation and social legislation-related questions.
- Monitoring legislative developments and ensuring compliance with Belgian labour and social security regulations.
- Collaborating with HR, Finance and external partners to ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Preparing reports and analyses to support business decisions.
- Contributing to payroll optimisation, digitalisation and process improvement initiatives.
- Supporting audits and payroll-related control activities.
Profiel
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Law, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of payroll experience within a complex environment.
- Strong knowledge of Belgian payroll legislation and social law.
- Experience with payroll software and digital HR tools.
- Fluent in Dutch and/or French with a good command of English.
- Analytical, detail-oriented and solution-driven mindset.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
