As Supply Chain Manager Manager, you are responsible for the end-to-end procurement and supply chain process within Just Russel. You work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to guarantee operational continuity, optimise costs, and safeguard quality.
You play a key role in building a robust and scalable supply chain, from strategic procurement to operational (fulfillment)logistics.
Supply Chain Management
- End-to-end management of the supply chain: planning, sourcing, production coordination, logistics, and distribution
- Optimise inventory management and stock levels to maximise service levels and minimise costs
- Set up and monitor supply chain KPIs (lead time, fill rate, on-time delivery, etc.)
- Proactively identify and address risks in the supply chain
- Collaborate with production, sales, and finance to align demand forecasts and planning
Supplier Management & Quality
- Conduct supplier assessments and continuously monitor performance
- Ensure quality and compliance requirements are met by suppliers
- Initiate improvement programmes for underperforming suppliers
Strategic Procurement
- Develop and implement a procurement strategy aligned with business objectives
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers; build long-term partnerships
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, delivery terms, and SLAs
- Conduct market studies and benchmarks to realise competitive procurement advantages
- Manage the procurement budget and report on savings and KPIs
Digitalisation & Process Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement projects for our supply chain and fulfillment center (cost reduction, automation, lean, …)
- Contribute to the digitalisation of supply chain processes and ERP optimisation
- Implement tools and dashboards for real-time supply chain visibility
Team
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders (sales, operations, finance)
- Report to the Operations Lead
Education & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in supply chain and/or procurement, preferably in an e-commerce environment - consultancy experience is also acceptable
- Proven track record in contract negotiations and supplier management
- Analytical thinking
Technical knowledge
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies
- Familiarity with fulfilment processes: order processing, picking & packing, last-mile delivery, and returns
- Knowledge of OMS/WMS systems and integrations with e-commerce platforms
- Experience with fulfilment partners (3PL) or in-house warehouse operations is a plus
