System administrator (Database Focus)

• So, what are the main duties of a System administrator (Database Focus) in Netcompany ?
• As a System administrator (Database Focus) you will:

• Perform core administration and operation tasks of the on-premises (Oracle, MS SQL) and Azure cloud (PostgreSQL) databases: installation, patching, performance tuning, backup and recovery, monitoring, listener configuration, tablespaces and user management, automation and scripting.

• Ensure the evolution of the databases infrastructure and architectures, as well as the hosting platforms: system hardening, user access control, and auditing.

• Manage the security and compliance of the databases infrastructure: vulnerabilities identification and remediations, analyse of the security audit and logs.

• Provide support to applications' owners and overall users of the databases.

• Develop high-quality technical documentation, reports, and client presentations.

• Contribute to other systems administration tasks beyond database (Windows servers/…
