Senior Accountant in an International company in Brussels

The company itself is active in different sectors and provides a broad range of services, enabling their partners growth, sustainability, and efficiency.

The Senior Accountant function will have direct impact on the well-being of the structure as it has for purpose to keep a hands on approach and to combine accounting and controlling.

As part of the finance team, the Senior Accountant will work on a wide scope, going from operation accounting to tax matters, controlling and process management.

The function includes:

• Being responsible of the accounting A to Z of one or several subsidiaries
• Managing the monthly, quarterly and yearly closings
• Advising on Tax and VAT matters
• Participating to the consolidation of national and international transactions with reporting to the international HQ
• Preparing the financial statements and the reporting
• Challenging the internal processes and keen on improving them if necessary
• Ad hoc analysis to improve or justify the accuracy of the accounts
• Etc, …

The Senior Accountant, evolving in a fast-paced environment, will gather some soft and hard skills such as:

• Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting / Finance / Tax
• Excellent command of English and French
• Knowledge and experience working in BeGAAP and IFRS
• You are a team player and always looking to improve yourself
• You react well under pressure and are proactive
• You are efficient / solution oriented
