Functiebeschrijving

PlayRight is the Belgian collective management organization (CMO) which manages and distributes the neighboring rights of performing artists. Founded in 1974 by musicians, PlayRight eventually expanded its operations to manage the neighboring rights of actors, musicians, dancers, and circus artists as well. Today, PlayRight represents more than 25,000 directly affiliated performers, as well as tens of thousands more through its partner CMOs around the world.

The repertoire of our affiliated performers is often broadcasted, downloaded, and sold abroad, thereby generating rights globally. This process also applies to foreign artists whose works are publicly broadcasted in Belgium. Music, films, TV series... are borderless. Therefore, smooth and accurate data exchange is indispensable to our operations. To that end, PlayRight has established many unilateral and bilateral agreements with sister organizations to collect neighboring rights for our affiliated performers in and outside of Belgium, in order to pay them as efficiently and quickly as possible.

Today, PlayRight is based in Brussels, with a team of 20 people managing its daily operations. For the Members/International department, we are looking for a motivated employee to strengthen our international operations.
