Head of Finance

Founded in 2016, Azumuta is a Manufacturing SaaS company helping factories worldwide digitalize operations, improve efficiency, and ensure quality and safety. As we scale globally, we are looking for a Head of Finance to bring structure, clarity, and control to our growth.
This is a high ownership role at the heart of the company. You will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to build a scalable finance function, improve visibility, and support better decision making across the business.
You combine strategic thinking with a hands on mindset and enjoy turning complexity into structure.

Your mission

• Own and build the finance function end to end

• Bring structure and scalability to financial processes and systems

• Support leadership with clear financial insights and decision making

• Ensure operational excellence across reporting, cash, and planning

What you will do
📊 Financial Planning & Performance
Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. Build and maintain SaaS metrics dashboards (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, burn) and translate them into crisp, actionable insights for leadership.
⚙️ Financial Operations & Reporting
Run day-to-day financial operations: monthly close, reporting, invoicing, and accounting coordination. You're hands-on here — you do this yourself, not just oversee it.
💸 Cash Flow & Cost Efficiency
Manage working capital and cash flow actively. Identify and drive efficiency improvements while keeping the business funded for growth.
🛠️ Finance Systems & Tooling
Evaluate, implement, and own the finance stack (ERP or equivalent). Build visibility across teams through dashboards and structured reporting.
📋 Contracts & Revenue Integrity
Own the structure and quality of all customer contracts. Standardize templates, align with pricing and billing logic, and ensure clean data for invoicing, renewals, and revenue recognition.
🤝 Governance & Stakeholder Support
Prepare board and investor reporting. Support CEO decision-making. Manage relationships with banking partners, auditors, and tax advisors.
🔗 Cross-functional Partnership
Work closely with Sales, R&D, and People to align financial planning with company priorities. Be the finance voice in the room — not just a service provider, but a true business partner.

🖐 Hands on means being actively involved in the day to day execution, especially in the near term. As the company grows, you’ll help build and lead a lean team, but this role is best suited for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with rolling up their sleeves when needed.

You would be a great fit if you

• Have 8–12+ years in finance, controlling, FP&A, or audit — with at least some time in a SaaS or fast-growing tech environment

• Are genuinely hands-on: you've built processes, run the close yourself, and don't wait for a team to execute

• Are strong in financial modeling, SaaS metrics, and turning data into clear leadership narratives

• Have implemented or meaningfully improved a finance system (ERP, billing tooling, or equivalent)

• Communicate clearly — both in numbers and in plain language — with founders, investors, and operators

• Thrive in ambiguity and fast-moving environments where the playbook is still being written

• Have experience working with or owning commercial contracts in a B2B SaaS context

• Have held a finance leadership role in a SaaS scale-up or high-growth environment
