Freelance Payroll & Administration Officer

Our client is a rapidly growing organization active in the healthcare sector and part of a large international group. Despite its strong backing, the company maintains an entrepreneurial, start-up-like environment with significant transformation projects underway.

As a Freelance Payroll & Administration Officer your responsibilities are:

• Manage the monthly payroll process in collaboration with the social secretariat.
• Ensure accurate payroll closures and perform payroll validations.
• Compare and reconcile time management and payroll data.
• Handle payroll corrections and follow-up actions where necessary.
• Support HR administration activities, including contracts, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Coordinate payroll-related queries through the ticketing system and liaise with internal stakeholders.
• Provide support on HR and payroll projects across multiple legal entities and clinics.

A successful Freelance Payroll & Administration Officer should have:

• Proven experience in end-to-end payroll administration.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian payroll and social legislation.
• Experience working with social secretariats and payroll providers.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, less structured, entrepreneurial environment.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Hands-on mentality and ability to work independently.
• Fluent in Dutch with a good command of English; French is a plus.
• Experience with Workday, ADP, SAP, or similar systems is considered an asset.
