As a Compliance Officer your responsibilities are:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Develop, implement, and update compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments.
- Provide guidance and training to internal teams on compliance matters.
- Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulatory authorities.
- Investigate and resolve compliance issues or breaches.
- Collaborate with the Risk & Compliance department to develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and recommend necessary adjustments.
Profiel
A successful Compliance Officer should have:
- A degree in law, finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in compliance within the financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and risk management practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within the Risk & Compliance department.
