Senior Accountant - International Environment - Antwerp

In this role, you are a key player within the accounting team and contribute to an accurate and efficient financial operation. You combine analytical insight with a hands-on approach and take ownership of your responsibilities.

• Responsible for GL accounting of one or more entities
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Support the reporting of financial results
• Prepare tax filings in collaboration with external advisors
• Play an active role in year-end closings and audit processes
• Prepare IFRS files and financial statements
• Maintain contact with internal stakeholders and external parties (auditors, tax advisors, authorities)
• Contribute to ad hoc projects and optimizations within the accounting department

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GL accounting and closing processes
• Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
• Analytical, accurate, and well-organized
• Able to work independently with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
• Team player with strong communication skills and a curious attitude
