Quality & Food Safety – Junior / Graduate

BelPro Chocolate Masters is a growing chocolate manufacturer in Duffel. We are looking for a motivated recent graduate or junior professional who wants to develop practical experience in Quality & Food Safety within a real food-production environment.
You will work closely with the Operations Manager and experienced external specialists. You will support the development and day-to-day maintenance of our Quality Management System (QMS), HACCP, GMP, hygiene and food-safety activities.
Your activities will include supporting procedures and quality records, following up quality requirements on the production floor, traceability exercises, internal checks, non-conformities and corrective actions, internal audits, supplier and raw-material documentation, and preparation for future IFS Food certification.
We are looking for someone with a background in Food Technology, Food Science, Bioscience, Quality, Food Safety or a related field. Previous food-industry experience is an advantage but is not required.
Good English is important. Dutch is an advantage.

• Background in Food Technology, Food Science, Bioscience, Quality, Food Safety or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of HACCP, microbiology, food safety, quality systems or food processing is an advantage.
• Structured, practical and willing to learn.
• Comfortable working both with documentation and on the production floor.
• Able to communicate and cooperate with production and management.
• Previous food-manufacturing experience is an advantage, but not required.
